Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We offer sitting services for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals.
Yes! We will schedule a free Meet & Greet for all new clients. You'll be able to meet your sitter and walk them through your pet's routine.
Yes! During our new client onboarding process, we will provide you with a link to set up an account with our pet-sitting app. Your sitter will use the app to provide daily report cards for each visit, including pictures. You can also use the app to request appointments, pay your invoices, or message your sitter directly.
We bill weekly for all services provided within the week. You can pay your invoice using our pet sitting app via credit card or bank transfer (please note that a service fee may apply for credit card payments). We also accept cash, checks, or Venmo.
Nope! It is included in the rate for the visit.
For our in-home pet sitting services, we do not charge an extra fee per animal. For our dog walking services, a fee of $5 applies per additional dog.
During your Meet & Greet, your sitter can collect a copy of your key. We can keep your key on file for future visits, or you can request that we return your key after your visit (key exchanges are subject to a $10 drop-off/pick-up fee). We will not leave keys in your home on the last visit. In the event you are delayed in returning home, we do not want to be locked out. We strongly recommend the use of lockboxes, which are convenient for both you and your sitter, help prevent lost keys, and eliminate the need for key exchanges.
For the safety of your pet and your home, we prefer not to share responsibilities with anyone else. Our insurance protects you should there be an incident of negligence that involves your pet or property, but may be null and void if there is a question of who is at fault. Common problems of job sharing include miscommunication regarding feedings, medications, and locking doors. If you plan to have someone else in your home, please discuss this with us at the time of booking. We will need that person’s contact information so that your sitter can communicate with them throughout the service request.
We are insured for your protection. All of our sitters are covered under our policy, and they are thoroughly screened before being hired. Personal information is always kept confidential, and your keys do not display your name or address. We lock your home every time we leave, and we frequently work with alarm systems. We can also provide crime-deterring measures such as rotating lights or raising and lowering blinds.
If we suspect there is something wrong with your pet, we will immediately attempt to contact you or your designated emergency contact. During the onboarding process, we require that you fill out an 'Emergency Pet Care Authorization Form'. If we are unable to contact you or your designated emergency contact, this form will authorize us to make emergency veterinary medical decisions based on your instructions. You are responsible for any costs associated with this care.
You are assigned a primary pet sitter who performs the bulk of your service requests. However, life can get in the way and your sitter may not always be available. In that case, we will try and provide a backup pet sitter. We will schedule a second Meet & Greet for you to meet your backup sitter, so that you and your pet are comfortable with them.
We will try and accommodate your schedule as much as possible, and can even offer a Meet & Greet outside of our regular hours for a small fee. If that is not possible, an in-depth video call may be used in place of the in-person Meet & Greet; however, we strongly recommend an in-person meeting for both the safety of your pets and the safety of our pet sitters.
No problem! For an additional fee (plus the cost of the supplies), our pet sitters can pick up basic pet care supplies from a local pet store to use for the remainder of your trip. Your sitter will also be available to bring in any packages that are delivered, if you would prefer to order them online.
If you'd like to tip your pet sitter, you can do so when paying your invoice, which will be included in your final amount due (please note that a service fee may apply for credit card payments). You can also tip your sitter directly using cash or their preferred mobile payment method (e.g., Venmo, PayPal).
Please get in touch with us regarding overnight pet sitting requests. We do not typically offer overnight services, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
If you are a new client looking to book our services, please get in touch with us using the 'Contact Us' page or email us directly at kneadypawz@gmail.com. We will then set up a complimentary Meet & Greet appointment and send you a welcome link to our pet-sitting app. At the appointment, you will meet with your assigned sitter and review your pet's care instructions, necessary documents, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Your sitter will also collect a copy of your key or instructions on how to access it. Once your Meet & Greet is completed, your sitter will confirm your booking request!
